PEPPERMINT WHITE RUSSIAN

WELCOME TO DAY 7 OF COCKTAIL WEEK.

That means it is our last post cocktail week post.

Some of the most fun I've had shooting content all year.

Thanks for being here and joining me.

I really appreciate the support.

Today we are making a PEPPERMINT WHITE RUSSIAN.

& it is delicious.

I will always be such a fan of mint/peppermint.

It is just so refreshing. & I feel like it lightens up this heavy, creamy, milky drink.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Some cocktail glasses

  • Small plate

  • Cocktail shaker

FOR INGREDIENTS

  • Vodka

  • Kahlua

  • Cream - I like to use my vanilla bean coconut milk

  • Peppemint extract - mint extract works too

  • Candy canes - crushed (pro tip - use a reusable stasher bag to crush them. you won't poke holes through the bag.)

  • Hot fudge - check out my vegan hot fudge recipe!

First, crush the candy canes and make the vegan hot fudge.

Combine vodka, Kailua and peppermint extract in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine and chill.

Dip the rim of the cocktail glass in hot fudge and then dredge in crushed candy canes. Add a large ice cube

Pour over cream and add a candy cane to stir.

Serve and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz vodka

  • 1 oz kahlua

  • 2-3 ounces cream - I like to use my vanilla bean coconut milk recipe

  • Dash of peppemint extract - mint extract works too

  • candy canes, crushed & as stir stick

  • Hot fudge - check out my vegan hot fudge recipe!

DIRECTIONS

  1. First, crush the candy canes *see notes* and make the hot fudge.

  2. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the Kahlua, vodka and peppermint extract. Shake to combine and chill.

  3. Dip the rim of the cocktail glass in the hot fudge all the way around. Dredge in crushed peppermint.

  4. Add a large ice cube to the glass, pour over the mixture and add cream. Stir with candy cane.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

NOTES

  • Use a stasher bag to crush the candy canes. Keeps you from putting a hole in a ziplock and spilling all over.

  • I love using a candy cane to stir this up. It adds even more peppermint flavor.

Hope you all are having a happy day!
