SALTED CARAMEL MUDSLIDE

COCKTAIL WEEK UP IN HERE!

Recipe 3/7.

This one is a real treat.

& a bit like ice cream. 🤗

I grew up watching my family enjoy Kahlua and milk at the holidays.

It was never my favorite thing. But, once I learned to toss some Baileys in too, things got better.

Top it off with some vodka, caramel sauce and my vanilla bean coconut milk and you have a dream.

This drink is comforting, creamy, filling and delicious.

I will admit, the vanilla bean coconut milk really makes it resemble a creamy, dreamy ice cream.

I'm obsessed.

Look how yummy!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Some cocktail glasses

  • Cocktail shaker

INGREDIENTS

  • Caramel sauce - homemade is best, sorry I don't have a recipe for you in my arsenal

  • Vodka

  • Baileys Irish Cream

  • Kahlua

  • Vanilla bean coconut milk - heavy or sweet cream will work too

This recipe is so simple. you can prep the caramel sauce ahead of time or buy some off the store shelves. I bet you can guess what I will say is my favorite. Homemade of course.

All there is to do is drizzle the inside of the glass with caramel, add the vodka, Kahlua and Baileys to a cocktail shaker with ice and top it off with milk. Sprinkle the top with a little Maldon sea salt and there you have it. Serve and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce

  • 1 ounce vodka

  • 1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream

  • 1 ounce Kahlua

  • Vanilla bean coconut milk, or cream *see notes*

DIRECTIONS

  1. If making homemade caramel sauce, find your favorite recipe and prepare it first.

  2. In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine vodka, Kahlua and Baileys. Shake to combine and chill.

  3. Drizzle caramel sauce using a spoon on the inside of the glass.

  4. Lastly, pour over the combined alcohol, top off with milk and sprinkle a bit of Maldon sea salt on top.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

NOTES

  • If you are a lightweight or don't like things to taste too strong, back off the vodka to 1/2 an ounce.

  • I don't like my drinks to taste very strong so I load up the milk. You do you. But I would recommend about 3 ounces.

Hope you all are having a happy day!
