PB CUP COCKTAIL

Updated: Dec 19, 2021

Holy shit balls.

It's here.

& I'm just gonna say it right now.

YOU ARE WELCOME!!!!!

WELCOME TO COCKTAIL WEEK!

7 recipes, 7 days.

A perfect time to tie one on through the holidays.

Because, well. You probably need to. 🤭

& starting with the star of the show.

You've seen me tease it here and there (if you follow me on instagram).

& I have thoroughly enjoyed her and kept her to myself for a few months now.

But, it is time I stare her with the world.

Because she is perfect.

& beautiful.

& tasty AF.

I give you,

PB CUP, an actual delicacy. 😅

I had actual dreams of the beauty while my mind was doing it's thing trying to concoct how I wanted it to taste and what I wanted it to look like.

Which led to me visiting our local Walmart late one evening to find there was NO Godiva Chocolate Liqueur to be had.

So I called my Dad. & asked him to get some at the local spirits store in my hometown and send it off with Keith when he got there later in the day.

Which led to my Mom actually having to get it in Marion at a Hy-Vee and drop it off to the farm for Keith to bring home to me.

This bottle traveled.

She made her rounds to be here with us today.

& I won't lie.

The first time I made the drink was it.

I never had to retest. (I mean, I did because I wanted to drink it again.)

But I never had to make adjustments.

Which is a major win.

& now I welcome her into your life.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Some cocktail glasses

  • Small plate

  • Cocktail shaker

FOR INGREDIENTS

Crush the peanuts up. I like to toss them in a reusable sandwich bag (like a slasher bag!) and beat them with a meat tenderizer. Stasher bags are great because they don't break open on you!

Drizzle the inside of the cocktail glass of choice with peanut butter and hot fudge.

Dip the rim of the glass in hot fudge and then into the crushed peanuts.

Combine the skrewball and godiva in a cocktail shaker over ice. Give it a little shake.

Fill your glass with ice half way up, pour over your mixed alcohol and add the cream. Give it a stir.

Add some Reeses to your stir stick just for fun. 😁

Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons hot fudge sauce, I recommend making my recipe 😉

  • 1 tablespoon runny unsalted peanut butter , I love Crazy Richards

  • 4 oz cream, I use my vanilla bean coconut milk recipe (sweet cream or heavy cream will work too)

  • 1 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

  • 2 ounces Skrewball whiskey

  • Crushed peanuts, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Crush the peanuts. *see notes*

  2. Drizzle the inside of the cocktail glass with 1 tablespoon of hot fudge and one tablespoon of peanut butter.

  3. Dip the rim of the glass in the hot fudge all the way around. Then into the crushed peanuts.

  4. Combine the Skrewball whiskey and Godiva Chocolate Liqueur in a cocktail shaker over ice. Give it a little shake to mix and chill it.

  5. Fill the glass with ice half way, add the mixed alcohol and pour over the cream. Give it a stir.

  6. Add some Reeses to your stir stick (or a toothpick) just for fun.

  7. Enjoy!

NOTES

  • I love using a stasher bag to crush the nuts because they never break open. & I crush them using a meat tenderizer. Anything hard will work.

  • This recipe makes one "wuss" sized drink. I like to taste the alcohol, but not be the only thing I taste. Add, double, triple or quadruple as you see fit.

Hope you all are having a happy day!
